When FOX announced that they were rebooting their FANTASTIC FOUR franchise, most fans were excited about the possibility of seeing an FF film done right. However, it's beginning to look like that won't happen.
Before the first trailer even hit there were rampant rumors that the film was having problems. Many fans were angered to hear that the films stars and even the director were not using the comics as a reference. Then the trailer was released and it was received with a resounding "meh."
Now FOX has released the first poster for the film and they have another chance to get us excited about the film. Unfortunately the poster is just a print version of the final image from the trailer. So the question becomes, how on earth can FOX get general audiences to care about a film that even hard core fans don't care about?
