Nearly two years ago we shared with you a two minute and half STAR WARS anime video. The short video trailer was released by YouTube user OtaKing77077. The video was released with no description or any details as to where the video had originated. Some had suspected that it was from a failed Lucasfilm project that had never been released or some similar story.
However, now we know the truth. OtaKing77077 is actually a talented animator named Paul Johnson who has finally released the full short film STAR WARS: Tie Fighter. As it turns out, he did it all. Over the course of 4 years and countless hours of animating and editing Johnson has created a jaw dropping spectacle that is reminiscent of old school Japanese anime and full of all the action and excitement of the very best STAR WARS project you have ever seen.
