As we reported last week, TRON Legacy director Joseph Kosinski is slated to begin shooting TRON 3 in Vancouver beginning in October. Now thanks to a tweet from industry insiders PRODUCTION WEEKLY, it seems we also have a title for the film. It isn't really a surprise as TRON: Ascension has been the rumored title for the third chapter in the saga anyway, but this seems to indicate in a hard and fast way that it's official.
Of course, nothing is official until Disney puts out an official press release. However, Disney isn't objecting to any of the recent TRON news. Which seems to indicate that their silence is, for the moment, a silent confirmation. More on this story as it develops.
