This week, we were most fortunate to find the awesome Vinylmation art of Keith Lapinig. What is Vinylmation? Well I think Keith say's it best with this description we found on his Flickr page: "Vinylmation is Disney's new & unique line of artistic, Mickey Mouse-shaped 3 inch and 9 inch collectibles. In the blind packages, you'll find designs by cast members from the Disney Design Group and Imagineers. Guests also have the chance to create their own Vinylmation design by purchasing either a 3" or 9" blank. This is what I did with mine"
The images above showcase some of my favorite designs by Keith(Click on the image to get a better view). On the left are "Love your Mother" with Mickey mouse hugging a tree shaped like his head. "Claw Machine" which is filled with "LGM's" and a Vinylmation "LGM" to go with it. On the right side Is a Vinylmation figure painted with a Haunted Mansion Stretching portrait. The other is a D23 Figure with tons of Autographs that Kieth got at the D23 Expo in Anaheim Ca. earlier this month. In the middle is Kieth's award winning piece entitled "Celebrating Together." This was Kieth's winning design for the D23 Expo's Fab 5 Fan Art contest. He is officially the first fan to have a Vinylmation displayed in a Disney art gallery!
