The 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo got underway today in los Angeles, and while the Expo has been heavy on the typical first person shooters, sports games and the typical uninspired video game sequels, the first day of this years E3 has been dominated by new details about Disney's Epic Mickey and LucasArts & BioWare's Star Wars: Old Republic. Up first we have the trailer for Epic Mickey, which isn't very heavy on game play but is rather a stylized commercial to prepare you for the general concept of the game. Our second video is from G4TV's coverage of E3 and is a behind the scenes look with game creator Warren Spector. Due out this winter Epic mickey looks to not only reboot the identity of the world's most famous mouse, but to change the way gamers interact with the game environment.

The other big news from E3 today was the release of another epic CG trailer for the upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. The game, which takes place thousands of years before the saga of Anakin and Luke Skywalker, will be an massive online game in which players will be able to interact with other players to create a unique and totally immersive game play experience. This trailer, the second so far is MIND BLOWING and will totally get your blood boiling, and your adrenaline up, even if you are only an occasional Star Wars fan. Star Wars: The Old republic will go online later this year. -Admiral Duke
