With only a month before the release of Sorcerers Apprentice, Disney is still kicking out some fun behind the scenes featurette's. This one focuses on the one sequence that will likely make or break this film. The scene of Apprentice Mickey Mouse commanding the brooms and mops to clean the Sorcerers lair, is a legendary piece of film history and is one of the most memorable sequences from Walt Disney's Fantasia. To be completely honest, I am a little leery about what this will finally look like and I have to wonder if including this scene was even necessary. Of course we wont even know until the film hits theaters next month. Until then we can enjoy this fun sneak peak.
A video game that is based on a film about a living video game, already has a lot to live up to. TRON: Evolution was never going to be a half-assed attempt. Disney Interactive had the deck stacked against them pretty much from the moment TRON:Legacy was green lit. Having now seen this full length trailer to the game, it would seem that Disney Interactive and Propaganda games have really nailed it. The CGI involved in the film already looks explosive and detailed, and the game environment in TRON:Evolution looks just like that from the upcoming film. Now, I don't know if the footage in the trailer is game play or just a slick representation, either way TRON fans are going to be expecting a mind blowing experience, and if the trailer is a decent indication, Disney Interactive will no doubt, deliver. Also making it's debut at the TRON booth was the new TRON:Evolution controller for the Playstation 3. it all lit up and pretty as can be. I want one. -Admiral Duke
