MARVEL Studio's has just unveiled their second film short entitled MARVEL One Shot: A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer. Another MARVEL short film staring the unflappable man from S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Coulson. In the film THOR, Agent Coulson finds the legendary hammer called Mjölnir buried in the desert as numerous people make various attempts to extract the item from it's resting place. The question is... What happened to Agent Coulson before he got to THOR's Hammer?
The answer is a hilarious 3 minute short film that gives audiences a little more insight into what kind of man Agent Coulson is. The film also helps to expands the MARVEL Cinematic Universe in little ways by adding tiny details that hard core MARVEL comic's fans will quickly pick up on. For instance, did anyone else notice the ROXXON logo on the gas pump? Roxxon is a global corporate conglomerate that has played a big role in MARVEL comic's over the years. MARVEL One Shot: A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer will be included in the upcoming Blu-ray & DVD release of Captain America: The First Avenger which will be available in stores and Online October 25th.
