Albuquerque ABC Affiliate Gives A Behind The Scenes Look Of 'The Lone Ranger' Film Set

For the better part of two years we have been talking about Disney's efforts to get the Johnny Depp starring, Gore Verbinky directed and Jerry Bruckheimer produced, The Lone Ranger in front of audiences. To many it is known as the film that was actually canceled by Disney, then miraculously brought back to life by legendary film producer Bruckheimer. He promised Disney he could cut the budget by several million. Until during production, it ballooned past the original estimates. Last summer, the film went into production in New Mexico. The film employed thousands of local crew members and actors and even erected a massive movie set just west of Albuquerque. Now the film is finally on it's way to theaters and Disney is eager to generate buzz about it.
